Hi, I'm Ann-Marie a disabled veteran and former addiction counselor intern turned visionary founder, chief curator, and your employee well-being advocate at NativeSELF CARE (NSC) a behavioral management solutions platform. Where I developed the Sensory Events 4 Teams Methodology, as a pathway to improve sensory health and well-being outcomes at work.
I believe art is a form of self-care, sensory self-care is an art form, and WE ARE ART! My journey back to my roots in the world of art and self-care began as a means to navigate feeling overstimulated from stressful work experiences to transitioning from living on an island to living in America to being on active duty to motherhood and traversing, professional spaces like graduate school to entrepreneurship while feeling, anxious and working through PTSD.
These experiences inspired me to design bespoke employee community-building programs for normalizing well-being at work that also empower human resources and EAP leaders to cultivate S.A.F.E supportive, authentic, fulfilling, empowering spaces at work. A virtual space that simplifies access to planning and hosting resources for incorporating sensory health tools and well-being events at work. I wanted to find a way to honor the lives dedicated to working in support of our communities and public service organizations while recognizing the stories and emotions of the change-makers and heroes that drive them.
Together, I believe we can redefine workplace culture, promote genuine connections, and make sensory self-care and creativity central to success.
We believe that when you put an arts-based self-care community at the center of employer branding, employee wellness, and leadership symposiums, you can create magical member experiences that simplify access to S.A.F.E. supportive, authentic, fulfilling, and empowering workspaces.
This profound shift was forged by scaling pioneering kinetic art experiences like the Art & Butta Unboxing Experiences, and today that means we've created strategy, resources, and education to get you phenomenal results.
